We had 2 very large bull pines that we needed down for safety reasons. Rick was recommended to us from a friend as well as another company that had previously bid the job. From the very beginning, Rick with King and Sons has been very knowledgeable, professional and understanding. Watching this man hustle and get the job done deserves a 11/10. This was by no means an easy job and he attacked it head on, where others ran and didn’t want to touch it. Even when things seemed challenging, Rick found a way to get it done, both safely and efficiently. If we had more trees needing attention, I would call him every single time, hands down no questions asked. That being said, I cannot recommend Rick and his company King and Sons enough. WOW! What a great company King & Son's Urban Forestry is. I was very fortunate enough too respond to his AD and called Rick in the middle of night last November when we had those super bad wind storms and he came out right away after I explained how bad it was and secured one of my trees for me so it wouldn’t damage my house any further. He ended up coming back the very next day and dealing with said tree for me. He also did a full walk through and gave me a very fair estimate. My trees needed trimming so badly. Rick was on foot going by my house & asked if I needed any of his services. He offered to instantly evaluate the tree removal, I was finally willing to do. I loved the tree, but the men in the house complained about the leaves it dropped in the pool. The tree was in a tight spot, they did a great job of removing it. There was one tiny hole that a branch caused, Rick instantly told us about it, sealed it, & said he would come by Saturday to check the seal & do sny additional repair. Last year around a his time I had the crew come in and take out three huge trees that could potentially harm my home. Along with several mid size trees. The team was efficient in the work. I contacted Rick on a on Monday he was here actually the same day gave me a quote. Came back six days later completed The job in a very timely manner they were extremely organized and very careful with my landscaping as they removed all the debris which was quite a bit. I reached out to King and Sons Urban Forestry on their website, on Sunday morning. Within 10 minutes, Rick called me about my request. I needed a 30” x 40’-50’ tree removed that was growing into my fence. Rick asked if he could come by later that day and take a look. He was on time, inspected the tree and gave me a quote. The price was beyond fair and I didn’t even need to request additional quotes. Rick asked if he could come out the very next day. It’s currently 12:45 as I write this and the tree is down and the clean up is completed. He also provided me with additional phone numbers for stump grinding. Rick and his crew were awesome. We had a number of 60 to 80 foot dead trees on the property that were in some tight spaces, and were at risk of falling on or near fences and structures. Unfortunately we had a tree limb fall through our neighbors roof on Christmas Eve and to top it off it was raining. These were the only guys willing to come out and take care of the problem. Reasonably priced and five star service. They even helped to tarp the roof off before repairs were able to be made. Will not use anybody else from now on. See more See less

Our cat really gave him a run for his money, hopping over to a nearby tree and climbing up to the very top, probably 70 or 80 feet. King and Sons was quick to answer the call off of a Facebook post for a cat in the tree. Once onsite, Rick grabbed his gear, donned the harness and spikes. A minute later, he was positioned where he was in control. The scared cat that was in the tree for 24 hours in freezing temperatures and could not escape the efforts of Rescue Rick. King & Sons provided phenomenal same-day service! We had an 80-foot Grand Fir, practically sitting on top of the house, and Rick took it down in a skilled and professional manner. It had a twisted trunk base , but he had all the equipment to fell the tree exactly where he planned, missing the house, shed, fire pit, deck, and landscaped shrubbery close by. My neighbor had 2 trees that were leaning quite a bit along my fence , my fear since our last wind storm that a tree was going to come down on my house. With my neighbors blessing I hired King and Sons to cut those 2 trees down at a reasonable price. They took the trees away and did a great clean up. I recommend them for any job. I found King and Sons on line. Read some reviews and gave Rick a call. That evening he came to my house, explained everything and gave me a very reasonable estimate on trimming, cutting limbs from 3 trees. Within a week the work is complete. Excellent job. Dependable and conscientious. Also versatile. He trimmed up 3 pine trees and also pruned 8 large fruit trees. Reasonable prices too. He’s coming back next week to hang some clothes lines. 👍 See more See less
King & Sons have done extensive arborist and forestry services for us including selecting and planting large oak, birch trees, planting over 800 seedlings in our reforestation project and tree removal. I had a great experience with King & Sons Urban Forestry—they were prompt, quick, and professional, and they carefully protected my sprinklers and property while removing a tree. Nothing was damaged, and the work was done efficiently and cleanly. They even trimmed another tree that wasn’t part of the job to make it look more aesthetically pleasing, which I really appreciated.
